Pearson, you might want to "google" this and type in Basenotes as this has been covered before on two or three different occasions. Cursory answer: The edt is more course and projects better but the edp is smoother and projects less with longevity having been curtailed from the edt which was released in 2010 up to 2013(rough estimate).
